Required Documents
- Applicant PAN and government-issued identity proof.
- Address proof of the applicant.
- Copies of the work (e.g. manuscript, artwork, audio file, source code extract, or film/video), as required for the category.
- Name, address and nationality of the author(s), and year of first publication, if published.
- No Objection Certificate (NOC) from the author, publisher, or any person whose image or work is used, where applicable.
- Assignment deed / licence, where the applicant is not the author.
- Business constitution proof (GST, Udyam, partnership deed, LLP or company documents), where the applicant is an entity.
- Power of Attorney / Vakalatnama, where required by the Lawyer.
- Trademark search certificate (Form TM-60), where an artistic work is used or capable of being used as a trademark.

Platform Fee — for administrative facilitation & Lawyer coordination
What the Platform Fee covers: This is the Company’s fee for administrative case-management, Lawyer availability coordination, document organisation support, scheduling, reminders, and follow-up. It does not include legal advice, copyright filing, or any Government fee.
Lawyer’s Professional Fee: Any fee charged by the independent Lawyer for copyright consultation, filing, or other legal services is entirely separate and is payable directly to the Lawyer under the Lawyer’s own terms.
Government / Copyright Office Fee: The applicable statutory fee payable to the Copyright Office is separate and is determined by the category of work and the number of works filed, as prescribed under the Copyright Rules, 2013.

Important: The Platform Fee of ₹2,250 is not the complete cost of copyright registration. It does not include the Lawyer’s professional fee, the Government / Copyright Office filing fee, or any other charges related to your copyright matter. All such costs are additional and separate.
Additional / Separate Services
The following services are not covered under the Platform Fee or the initial Lawyer filing arrangement and are charged separately by the Lawyer:
- Replies to discrepancy letters / objections raised by the Copyright Office.
- Replies to third-party objections and attendance at hearings before the Registrar of Copyrights.
- Drafting of NOCs, assignment deeds, or licence agreements.
- Corrections or changes in particulars of registered copyrights.
- Additional works beyond the initial application.
- Any other legal or professional service not covered in the initial scope.
